About game

The Secret Ties of Strandcliff is a heavily narrative game with tons of conversations, nonlinear plot and many possible endings for each story line and every character. Story takes place in 19th century small town called Strandcliff, somewhere on the shore of North Sea. Take a role of a barman, gather information from you patrons, combine that information to receive extra options in dialogues, uncover secrets and untie the knot of Strandcliff's mysteries . You can choose to help people, act in your own favor or just mess with them by giving away information that will make them do things other way they wouldn't.

Features

The game features unique information cards mechanic, that allow player to use whatever data is collected during conversations to start talking on a desired theme. For example, if player wants to talk with someone about other bar visitor, the card of that character should be pulled. And so on, speak about their habits, secrets they've told you, world events etc.

The game is aimed to provide huge replayability. Every decision you make affects story one way or another, sometimes causing chain reaction of a whole bunch of seemingly unrelated events. All characters have their own stories, many of them are tied together by secrets of the past, the secrets they might not even now about themself. The knot of interconnections is very tight, and pulling one string might bring out a lot of consequences.

Who we are and what is our goal

We are a small indie team from across Eastern Europe. We are making Strandcliff in our spare time for a handful of years now. Our goal is to make great story rich indie games and become a fully operational independent studio.
